Ray Woolf

Singer, recording artist, actor and MC, Ray Woolf is one of New Zealand's most well known and loved entertainers.

In 2007, Ray was awarded the prestigious "Benny" award from the Variety Artists Club (VAC) for his services to entertainment in the fields of Music, Musical Theatre, Acting and Film.

An extremely long list of television credits, highlights of which include, Xena, Young Hercules, Marlin Bay, Street Legal, The Ray Woolf Show, Starquest, Those were the Days, Play it by Ear, In the Groove, The Strip, Shortland Street, Interrogation and Orange Roughies.

Theatre performances include, West Side Story, The Sound of Music, The New Rocky Horror Show, Music Man, A Slice of Saturday Night, Blood Brothers and The King and I.

Ray has toured extensively and made numerous recordings with two albums. He has achieved the Pegasus award for Best light entertainer (TV), Most Professional Performer and New Zealand Entertainer of the year.

Ray is a fabulous performer. His first love has always been performing live, he believes there is a special magic in the live non repeatable show. He performs both as a solo performer and with his group.
